Burning Man is incredible fun but it's also a lot of work & prep. Some pix on the "post your gig pics" thread: http://www.djtechtools.com/forum/sho...ig+pics&page=3

    Isn't that a great feeling?

I even keep extra AC Adapters at my weekly gigs, so I don't even have to bother with those. Just laptop, stand, controllers, and headphones. God I love that feeling. It gives such a great sense of ownership of a gig.
    Monika.mhz - I do things. Also stuff.

That is exactly all i take with me now (plus a cd wallet and some sweeties for my sweet tooth).

Ive got a flight case that the manager lets me keep in the Office with all the spare bits and pieces in it i may need, power cords, phono leads, spare headphones etc.
Ive done this at 2 venues. It saves me carrying all sorts of stuff.

Your totally right you get a great feeling of security and ownership.

I'm almost there. My weekend gigs just require my laptop + headphones. My two week-day gigs are still mobile.

Better than it used to be though...I used to do 4-5 mobile gigs a week..

Thats tough gigging bro. Ive never done the mobile thing. Always clubs and bars. That can be enough , esp when i was doing 5-6 nites a week.
Mobile as well sheesh. I hope you take plenty of hoildays. Your gonna deserve them after months of mobile gigging.

I'm so jealous of that. I really should learn to use CDJs. Here I am with some supposedly uber-cool cutting-edge high-tech 21st Century laptop DJ setup that I have to lug around and get in everyone's way to set up, and the dude following me has a CD flipbook and a pair of headphones and I feel like a total evolutionary throwback.
