Do your research before you so boldly state such a thing.

General label deal between artist and label is 50/50 artist/label through most genres; different deals depend on remixes/videos/artwork/promo but this is only for bigger tracks which are worth that investment.

    50/50????

What planet does that happen on still. 50/50 AFTER costs maybe, which in reality is probably a 50/50 split of 30% of the wholesale price, I can't imagine Beatport, Juno etc. are all doing this for the love.

What are the name of some of these production forums you are getting these songs from? I would be very interested to check it out.

In its hay day trance addict was great. Alot of top quality stuff but I don't know these days been years since was active there. Another was a .nl one but can't remember also I know a few semi known producers that were into file sharing on direct connect and soulseek and would share their works. Sorry I can't be more help I've been out of production for a few years now and don't follow it much.

Look around tho join a few forums and you'd be surprised the artist that accutally use them.

I did alot of production work as a hobby from 02 to 08 then kinda got busy with life and haven't got back into it. Slowly but surely I'll get back into it.
