All buttons on the CMD controllers will change from the hard plastic we had at NAMM and PLS to rubber buttons.
ok thanks, can't wait till october....
Oh man....Who on earth is responsible for the "change to Rubber" button decision...
Rubber buttons are like automatic latency.....
Not to mention that it emulates old skool technology from the mid 90s.
Its literally impossible to get any rapid button presses with any accuracy when using rubber buttons, PERIOD.
Nice Berhinger....you went from being Flagship cool....to Fisher Price old school.....
*cough bullshit cough* That TOTALLY depends on the Rubber Buttons that are being used...
Sure granted the old denon CD decks for example had horrible rubber buttons, but the Akai APC's have very responsive ones that you can slam on, and depend on all night as do many other controllers, Twitch/S4/S2/F1/Reloop/A&H K2 ...among others.
There are some horribly bad hard buttons as well - would you prefer they used ones like the Hercules RMX?? I cant complain on the reliability level, but for juggling absolutely useless and pretty much SUCKED for anything apart from straight up mixing.
You seem to be of the idea that rubber automatically means those nasty squishy buttons you had to press twice to get the right number on the screen like that Casio calculator you had in high school
Open your mind a bit - plenty of the biggest DJ's in the world don't have a response problem with rubber buttons including our very own Mr. Golden.
