hmm i thought that might be the case.

i know with soccer (or football) most of the european clubs dont let there players go because they pay them so much and dont want them leaving the team for however long. i assume its the same with baseball

agreed, DEAD boring, but inescapable when you are raised in the states.

My dad made me play baseball for years. I hated it. And I sucked. I can't sit through a baseball game without wanting to take a nap.

Well, yeah, but then I'm not watching the game.

I'm drinking with friends, with a baseball game in view.

I can do that in a bar and save a LOT of money.

Atmosphere baby...lots of hot chicks @ the game...different chicks than what you may see in your usual watering pub.
