Oh god damn it. I wanted to sell my S4 and flight case and was at least hoping for something in the £600 area.

I'll wager they'll call their single platter controller the "S1", not the "P1", purely to keep with current naming conventions.

There's a drum and bass producer named Paradox whose live set is him running his own stems off a 20 year old Amiga and a tracker. He plays the stems and talks shit about DJ's and other producers the whole time. It's pretty hilarious. If he wasn't such a good producer, I'd hate him.

it would be for a big routine, 2 with actual vinyl, 2 with timecode, and 2 remix decks. iunno, i think itd be neat

it would be for a large scratch routine, not for shows lol, and the way i play is i use little pieces of multiple songs to create a new song, and as DJBife said richie hawtin, dubfire, and many others use 4 decks in traktor + maschine + external effects.

6 decks is easy. Check out Tom Cosm or Moldover. Both use Ableton Live and easily run between 4 and 20 channels.,,

And each Remix Deck is essentially 4 decks/channels, so Traktor is capable of running 16 decks...

    Right?

Are they playing their own stuff though? That's the difference. Doing a live show of your own work is great. Playing 6 decks of other people's work is kind of lame IMO, of course.

I'd care for TP3 with more damn modifiers and new FX engine. I don't expect much from new controllers anyways - hopefully the better build and mapping support.

Motorized platter support, control of remix decks with ANY controller, and multiple simultaneous PFL support (ie, with an Audio 6 you could output your master and have TWO people cueing separate decks). That's what I want.

The 2nd two aren't features to be added, they are merely restrictions you want lifted.
