    really? wouldn't you prefer to have it on the master and the individual channels like any mixer with a send and return offers. To me effecting the master muddies up the sound too much.

    Maybe! never had the ability too as I'm all midi, but I love the sounds i can crank out of it on the master.

    Yea, it works just fine on the master, simply add it between the mixer and the speakers and its all fun

    Good to see some excitement in this thread from people who have experience with standalone effectors... I'm wanting to make the move from using Traktor's software effects to a standalone device so this might be the perfect piece of kit for me

    Default rmx 500 fx feature

    Hey folks,

    I've got a rmx 500 just bought lately, but i've a question regardig its fx features;

    On my pioneer djm700 i've the same "roll" effect that is available on the rmx500. Only on my djm700 it's possible to put that effect on a 4 beat sequence. That way it's looping 4 beats. But on my rmx500 it looks like i can have only a 1 beat loop on that "roll" effect. I'm aware of the throttle that modify this effect, but it starts at just one beat and can only alter it to 1/2, 1/4, and 1/8, but not to 4/1, witch i prefer.

    Is there any option to alter this to a 4 beat looping? Because this is the most desired effect for me to play with, and kind of the reasen i bought this thing in the first place.

    Anybody who's got some ideas on it?

    P.s. sorry for bad english, as i'm from the netherlands

    Default rmx 500 fx feature

    And another thing;

    How do i use effects on top of this "roll" effect? As soon as i hit a "instrument" effect, ( or any other ) the initial "roll" effect gets terminated. Even when using the "Over-dub" wich usaly allows to put effects in the same beat sequense....

    Any ideas?
