LMAO I'll give you that one, that shit was funny...emo band..haha...I was actually busy playing varsity soccer and playing at big night clubs. Beatport? Dude, I have tracks that you will never get your dumb hands on. If I open for these DJs its cause I got good music in my collection, beatport is for those big guys, not me. I bet you your life that if an executive of an ent. company came and offered you to play festivals and at night clubs making $20,000 a month, you would not say no. I would of been high as hell to say no to doing what I love. As I said, stay at your local bar and keep insulting people that have worked their ass off to be where they are.

this isn't a competition, he wants to be a condescending asshole about things. I was stating how mixing with keys can cause energy differences and then he decides to put his dildo back in his ass and start arguing for no reason..and then starts disrespecting people, smh

How do you sort keys, then BPM order? You use rekordbox to do that? I didn't know you could have "secondary" sort options. What DJ equipment do you have?

After rekordbox analyzes my songs, I make playlists according to key: F Major, G major, C major, etc. Then I'll make playlists from those keys, the songs go into those playlists after I listen to them, then I click the bpm bar and set it up from highest bpm to lowest bpm.

Simple enough, but I place my music by genre. I don't feel like making playlists within playlists. I thought there was a more simple option.

I feel its simple. Most genres are written in a certain bpm range anyways. I like mixing harmonically as well, it gives my sets a nice formats. Not everyone does it like me, which is fine, each their own way!
