But that's what it comes down to. It's not which one is "better". Each speaker sounds different in it's own way and is better suited for different applications of music
Did you notice I complimented the PK Trinity above?

That's cool that you work for them. They seem like a solid innovative company that will rise.

I did not see you mention that. But that's cool. Yea Trinity is awesome. sounds very crisp. I helped build a couple boxes and there's so many parts that make up each cabinet. It's crazy

And about the surge protector. I've never had an issue with it in the DJ booth. The power draw of DJ equipment & laptops isn't that much. Just don't plug them into the same circuit as your booth speakers and you won't have any surge issues.

The best system i have played on is a TurboSound rig.

My mate and owner of an organization that throws festivals here in SA owns one.
His technician is a Mastering Engineer by day and tunes his system at the festivals.

    Its impressive for its size.

    Next question:
Found this picture of the beatles playing at shea stadium.

It looks crazy. Any idea how they managed to get sound to all these people. I don't see a stack or anything.
People keep mentioning how good and nice soundsystems used to be, but I can't imagine that the sound on this concert was even close to what we have nowadays.

    Selective memory.

If you want to know what that sounded like get these speakers and sit back 15 ft.

Have you ever work with daytime "light/smoke" effects im concerts? I'm running a after-ski in Switzerland and i need some cool ideas to ad for our show.

during the daytime smoke isn't going to do much for the lights at all. you can still run lights, but they just aren't going to have as big of a wow factor as they would in the dark. LED walls with high output can run video during the daytime and still be mostly visible if the sun isn't directly facing them

And I'm not asking you to let the song finish. But you don't chop the break when the crowd is vibing. Or cut a vocal phrase mid sentence. Or mix out before the bassline even kicks in.

I just think it's DJ etiquette 101 to let the last song play. You don't want that to happen to you. Plus sometimes the last song is special for a DJ. Like putting the bow on the present.

You never see it happen at the top of the game. With the famous DJ's.
lol to be a clown…. I don't know who filled my floor the venue? the promoter? the headliner? lots of factors no need to call people names

No one's cutting a phrase or doing shitty transitions or grabbing a mic to switch dj's here….

Let your "Special Song" be second to last and give a floor filler that is mix-in-able that way it can play all the way out.

Give me of some examples of "Famous Dj's in the top of the game"

The footage is on youtube i think. You literally cannot hear anything over the screaming. I think they were just using the vocal PA at the stadium.

Remember that you are literally watching the birth of stadium rock here, sound systems for this sort of venue didnt exist as they hadnt been required.

You might want to check out what some festivals do that are focused on daytime shows.
Look for some videos/pics of Fusion Festival, Plötzlich am Meer. I think that the combination of bright blinders (like sunstrips) + very thick and heavy smoke looks good on daytime too.
