I agree with that statement. Also on an off note, his line of headphones suck more "Richard" than Beats.

Having tried the K167's they are bloody good, the Audiophiles on Head-Fi would disagree as well with good reviews all round, they are NOTHING like beats whatsoever, and are pretty reasonably priced too for what you get,

Ignore the Tiesto "logo" as you obviously hate the guy (cant say i'm a fan either) but they are actually decent cans.

I hope they realize the Tiesto thing is turning off alot of people and so they might sell a few more.

I live in Canada and I'm jumping on the wave, I used to primarily spin Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggae/Dancehall. I would always have some EDM, mainly progressive and electro, but since the deep house wave has begun for me I've been a disciple. It all happend when I heard Hot Since 82 for the first time, I actually had to go see him that week just because I enjoyed some of the songs to much. What exactly differentiates deep house from the rest? Is Hot Since 82, or Dusky-type tracks with those huge ambient drops considered deep? I'm in love with it and will spin it forever now. Too bad is just started to make noise here overseas, people don't open as fast over here but the ones that have converted show no signs of ever wanting to go back

I've seen plenty of broken K81's too though, and sound quality was very "meh" on them.

Ouch, Oh well , plenty of other headphones (*cough v700*) have the same issue, shame though for a $200 set of cans.

I've owned the akg167 and heard the 267. Both really do suck, and I use that word with meaning. In terms of sound and also value...the k81 and k181 are much much better. For djing and mixing I personally use pro 700 mk2. I was using the 181 for 5 years, the pro 700 mk2 blows it out of the water. The sound that comes out of these is amazing. Build quality is solid. Unlike the Tiesto series which is built like a menstruating teenage girl.
