Looks like there's a play button and two knobs for each sample deck. So maybe sample volume and FX for each sample? the sample deck is labeled as C so you might not be able to use the sample decks and play tracks on the c/d decks at the same time. Or the sample window is collapsible like the cue window is now. If you could rearrange the different sections and maybe drag some of them to another screen that would be awesome. As it is it's looking pretty scrunched up on a 15" computer screen.

Seems good enough, but will it be good enough to go head to head with the xone:dx? I guess it will come down to prices. Hopefully, Allen & Heath will lower their prices on the xone:dx. :P

Initial thoughts:

I've had a close look at the GUI and it looks pretty much as TPro does now, with a sampler in decks 3&4. So we may be looking at an update rather than an overhaul as regards to the actual software... I'll go 50/50 on whether the software is paid for or not...

Controller - on the Traktor facebook page it has been confirmed that this controller includes an onboard sound card...

So at least we know why there was a massive sale on at NI now!!!

This always seems to happen to me, bought my duel core mbp as the new processor versions came out, got my VCI and sound card in april and now this!!! I'm going to be skint for the next year because of this new development!!!
