Thats the thing though. You will still see SSL users on a lot of clubs in the US cus those guys have ben DJing for some time.

Its gonna take time for the Traktor users to come through the ranks. It is happening, slowly.

Just like in UK you would never see a Trakor DJ 5 or 6 years ago. You only saw SSL.
    That changed really quickly.

The US is following Europe like that at the moment and, like i said its not necessarily about which one is better cus that is a stupid argument. Its more down to NIs aggressive marketing in the US.

Fact is, people are stupid and they buy what they are told. UK, US it doesnt matter. NI have had a whole line of DJs flogging their stuff. If i was a 15 yr old kid i think id be pretty impressed at the Traktor videos that we have all seen over the passed few years.

As i say, its not a SSL v TSP thing at all cus thats just stupid.

Yeah, almost the same with the discussion of PC vs Mac.

(not saying one is better-remember, i chose traktor over serato-just reporting what i see).
I guess it's because a lot of new DJs are flocking towards Traktor, which would lead me to say that Traktor will eventually win this out. Then again, I won't believe it's outselling until I see a legit link (they might be counting all the free LE demos that get sent out and ignore itch for all I know).

@Karlos I believe that Traktor (NI) is outselling Rane in hardware sales, no doubt. Most DJs that I know that are SSL users dont even own the box cuz all the clubs they play at already have it installed.

I love trakor and NI, heck I own everything from NI DJ line except for a Audio4. But ive been waiting for features to come to (Traktor) and its serious taking too long to come. IE Maschine intergration, colorwave forms, point and click midi mapping. A GUI that can move waveforms vertical or horizontal.

I wish Traktor or NI would do something similar to what serato has on their site and get something going with beatport to be like whitelabel.net. Well they do but its for the super famous djs (which im not), I need to dig up that link again.

Call it a rant or me bitching but seriously now that I own a SL-1 and the only midi controller I rely on is a pair of Dicers with some timecodes my setup time is under 1 min vs 10-15 mins. And I just got tried the bridge lastnite for the 1st time...all im saying is wow.

Check this link out ----> http://sera.to/~Dj_JesC (this is not a plug) but I wish NI had something like this cuz it gives promoters/clubs owners a chance to see what you play and what gear u have.

Serato have always done a great job lookig after their DJs. The forum is really good (aside from the few total bastards that ruin it).
The NI forum is woefuly lacking in some areas. I wish i could change a lot.
Thing is the NI forum caters for all that NI do which is a vast product line in comparison to Seratos.

As for long awaited features. Im not too sure about that. Things take time. Maschine is what, less that 2 years old..?
Traktor Pro is just over 2 years old and both have been developed a lot but maschine is still a work in progress. The 1.6 version is the first big step up.
I dont think a TSP/Maschine bridge could have been developed in this timeframe.
I think it will be in the next big round of development maybe.

I see the development of SSL having dragged its feet much more in the last 2 years.
Most of the Bridge was done by Ableton AFAIK. Still, it is great and it is something that NI should be working on.

Its funny cus i like the look of what the Bridge can do. My mate who is an SSL user in the blood is using Ableton a lot and hes using the Bridge but he loves the way Maschine works alongside Traktor and hes looking to buy an X1.
