Wow! looks awesome!!! looks like its going to give Rane some serious competition. And it looks like you could even just use that as an all in one kit, with the cue point buttons on each side. although that might be a little impractical

seeing as it offers less functionality as the ddj-t1, was I to naïve to think the pricetag would be less than that unit?

Its nice! Shame it doesn't have two USB ports for crossover like the rane... Or does it?

I see a DJM 909, an Audio 4 DJ, and an X1, all shoved inside a 909 sized box.

With some new inno-fader like fader design for both the cross, and channel faders, sexy.

    DJM-909 = $1200

    NI X1 = $200

    Audio 4 DJ = $200

+ $200 for shoving it all in one box and slapping "Pioneer" on the side.

It adds up just fine to me.

Hell I might call it a deal for a pioneer product.

A TTM 57SL is only going to set you back $13-1500.

But it also has NO MIDI controls. So I would say that is where your extra $200 goes.

I really don't think the sixty eight is worth comparing, as it a completely different beast, and as well $700 higher in price point.

In closing, this has become my top candidate for next mixer, as well an all in one, jog-less two deck traktor solution.

    DJM-T1 + Laptop = Boom

I'd call this a joke if it were funny, but it's just pathetic. this toy is more expensive than the evo5 which is so clearly superior that it hurts.

anyone buying this? I pity that foo

You DO realize that this $1899 is MSRP right? The actual street price will be considerably less.

    For example:

DJM900NEXUS MSRP= $2,300, street price almost EVERYWHERE is at most $1,999.

    DJM2000 MSRP= $3,000, street price is $2,499

The T1 will probably land around $1,499-1,599 to be competative with the Rane TTM57SL.

Its basically the same price as an Evo5... and they are clearly completely different beasts.

Especially if you have no firewire port, or have no use for 4 channels.

And it is a "toy" because?

The TTM57SL does of course effectively come with free software.

I like the look of this a lot, but I wouldn't consider buying one. The faders look great!
