I understand Osama Bin Laden is a fucking nut job but what fucking rights do we have to bury him at sea. I'm no expert on Muslim traditions but I'm almost positive that being dumped in the ocean isn't one of them. How are we supposed to "bring PEACE" to the world if we can't even try to respect the people were trying to win their minds over.

That's if this even happened. I was ok to believe it if they produced some kind of body and, I would have imagined, given it to his family for proper burial rights. Who fucking gets buried at sea? I can't wait to see the logical shit storm they come up with to justify this.

His killing and the corpse has been thoroughly documented. His was buried at sea since there's no country that want to accept his body for burial.

That being said, Islam has just as rich a tradition for sea burial as other religions, they have been riding around in ships for milennia, after all.

I find it impossible to believe that no one wanted to claim his body. He has like 24 brothers and sisters and twenty kids of his own. I don't know much about Islam and it burial traditions but I do know that you are generally placed on your side facing Mecca which is hard to do sea.

It was also well documented that Saddam had WMDs which we all know how that one turned out. It is not beyond our government to lie to serve a political cause.
