Oh. Got a Laphroaig 12yr. Very nice indeed.
Then also got Mackmyra First edition. The only Swedish whisky there is. Not one of the best I've drank but fun for patriotic (or whatever) reasons...

Need to bump this thread up for Christmas - just got a bottle of Aardbeg (too peaty) and an 18yr old Highland Park which is spectacular. Hinting at a replacement for the Penderyn which is just about done.

My point Ed - more like chewing through a piece . Got a sample of the Highland Park 18yr with the 12yr. On the rocks tonight, will let you know. The GF never got the Penderyn hint .
