Nice review Fullenglishpint. I've been eagerly waiting to hear what you had to say about it.

Was wondering if you spoke to anyone about the Ableton integration that Novation were talking about back in April... wow has it really been that long! Were there any clues as to how that would work?

I did indeed, to people from both novation and ableton. In fact it's a member of this forum who's been given the job of mapping it to ableton, and I believe it's taking the form of a couple of devices (one for max4live, one for something else) which will implement some kind of automapping system to allow the Twitch to be used in a wide variety of situations rather than a basic mapping that would only work for a few.

I'll be quite honest with you, I don't really fully understand what they're planning but they do seem to be giving it some proper thought. I think it's unlikely to be ready for the release date, but you never know. As a recent purchaser of Live I'm very interested to see what they end up with.

    Nice review!
As for the product suggestion, I'd like to see the Twitch with two independent groups of four knobs and four corresponding buttons, rather than the 1 group it has now. Make those endless with led feedback, and it'd be a beast. As it stands, Twitch is actually very much like a VCI-100, with the jogs replaced by touch strips. Nice, but I could see some of the same issues with FX assigning, handling, etc, as the VCI. It's going to be killer for ITCH just the way it is, but it'd be nice to see something with a more Traktor friendly layout in the future.

Ehm is the twitch released yet?? because i was looking around htfr a couple of minutes ago searching for a small midi controller and came across this.

    http://www.htfr.com/p/393695/novatio...usb_controller

This may be of no benefit to anyone just said id post it.

I personally have no interest in the twitch. Even though i believe its a great forward thinking controller.

Really want to go to Sonar.
@fullenglishpint What did you think of the event itself?? Did you go to any of the night shows?? Was it expensive (tickets)??

It was €160 for the weekend which I suppose is on the expensive side, but the night time shows were unreal. Totally worth it.

No it's not released yet, as i said in the review it's just about ready to leave china so it's about 4 weeks away.

Thats actually cheap enough considering what you get.

Just paid 240e for oxegen over here granted its four day and includes camping. I taught it would be more expensive than that.

Might convince the girlfriend to go to Barcelona next year for a 'romantic' break. That clashes with Sonar:P
    Cheers

If anyone's definitely interested in sónar next year, you can buy weekend tickets this week for 2005's price of only 100€. Only 500 available!

Thanks for the info mate, after reading this threadI think i'm sold on the Twitch! I was also considering the VCI Arcade but I think this will be much better for my needs.
