It may sound nicer according to your tastes but in no way is the quality higher.

yeah.. I wouldn't say sound quality is better.. just different.
Even from mixer to mixer its different.
For example Xone mixers are VERY warm.. even if you play digital tunes you still get that warm feeling.
My Denon is very clean.. both digital and vinyl.
I'm usually not a huge fan of vocals on vinyl.. but I love deep tunes on vinyl.
IMO, some songs sound better digital and some sound better on vinyl..
I don't think any difference in quality is as big as the difference between different kinds of speakers.

the mixer debate is one of the main reasons i want a dc2000 or an x1 for club gigs (anyone selling one in the UK for cheapo holla at your boy!)

i end up feeling a lil' too detached from the audience taking my mixtrack pro

True but an old vinyl covered in dust with shitty needles is also bad.

A pristine pressing with a quality needle still isn't nearly as accurate as a .wav file and digital files don't get worse with age.

yes, according to the tastes are selected controller or mixer classic.

As for me I'll save for a DN-MC6000 or XONE DX. i think this is the best choice

A side note on that, do you have the eternal crossfader in yours? I tried one out yesterday and it's so smooth it's like it's not there...
