They weren't the first electronic Band/DJ's/Producers that i listened too, but Alive 2007 seriously inspired and pushed me to have a go at DJ'ing myself. Their harder better faster stronger/around the world mash up still gives me goosebumps

Other than them, it was probably one of those commercial electro CD's i heard at a couple of parties with the likes of Dirty South, Booka Shade, Eric Prydz etc that pushed me down the listening to electronic music path and then onto DJ'ing a year or 2 later.

Rudy Ratzinger (:wumpscut:), 'cause the song Hexentanz got me into EDM, and I've been hooked every since, and Mr. Golden, for showing me that one doesn't need thousands of dollars in equipment to be a DJ. (It sure makes it pretty neat, though.)
I'm not good at things, but I like to pretend I am.

I'd have to say Dieselboy, with a second runner up being The Crystal Method.

The first show I ever went to was a Crystal Method show. And it blew my mind. I was already listening to a lot of EDM back then (this was pre-2000, not sure exactly on when it was) and it got me hooked even harder.

But Dieselboy shows were what really got me hooked into the "scene" I guess, and wanting to do what I was seeing on stage. I've been to more shows than I can remember with him there, and it was fantastic.

You could say The Crystal Method set the hook, and Dieselboy reeled me in.

I've been into electronic music for long time... but as far as insperation from a dj perspective.... I'm gonna have to say B33son. His contest vid blew me away, and still does. After I saw that I decided I wasnt gonna just sit around and my free time, and started dedicating myself to building sets.

Simian Mobile Disco, MSTRKRFT, Steve Aoki (performance aspect not technique) and Erol Alkan are my biggest influences. Production wise though who can beat Daft Punk, Alan Braxe, Booka Shade and Ratatat.

MSTRKRFT for sure, Deadmau5, Daft Punk, Ferry Corsten, Ean Golden. One of the first dj's to catch my ears was Girl Talk , it got me really interested in mashups.

Since I've only been into this for about two years, This Deadmau5 video
