    It does look the business.
Hey DJ Tech UK. I have the original version as mentioned. If you fancy giving me a a Thudrumble version to test, I'm only a few miles away in Preston. I'll come and pick it up

I played on this thing at Namm alot. It's pretty dope, only thing I'm complaining about is the price. It was introduced at $99 USD and they raised it to $199 usd. That right there is shady and stopped me from buying this thing. I ended up getting a used Stanton mixer and installing a real innofader pro in it for $175. This mixer was originally developed a few years ago by members on a scratch forum. There was a schematics of how to make your own mixer for $50. They pretty much took that put an innofader mini in it made it commercial and added $100 to the price. In all honesty if they would of stuck to their word or offer this at $140 then it would be a no brainer. Elliot Marx of Innofader is a awesome guy and smart as hell. He was the main support for the DIY mixer project and provided VCA schematics next level stuff

A correction: DJ Tech announced it at $149. I know Qbert said it was $99 in the NAMM video, but as far as I'm aware, it has never retailed anywhere for $99.

Do you have a link to the schematics? I'd love to see them.

actually i think it posted for 99 euros..... which in USD is $130.81 not $200 or $180 like i've been seeing unless the dollar to euro conversion has changed dramatically in the last few months. Didn't know it was announced at $149 is that msrp? anyone selling it for that price in the USA? lol kinda interested in this thing again if the pricing is correct. i'll pm you the schematics gotta dig it off one of my old hard drives. just my opinion that a standard 2 channel mixer with a sharp crossfader shouldn't cost more than $150 if it does more stuff fine the price goes up. but for what their offering at that price you can find a decent second hand mixer and slap a real innofader in it. @DJWORX i'll pm you the schematics gotta dig it off one of my old hard drives

Just to clarify this once and for all - the video and press release both stated $149 / €129 / £99. And I believe the price was raised after pressure from the retail chain wanted a wider profit margin, rather than DJ Tech getting greedy.

We're living in a time when everything costs so much more these days. Raw materials, production costs, transportation, warehousing, exchange rates and taxes are getting higher all the time. Having pulled a DIF-1S apart, myself and some colleagues don't know how DJ Tech can put this out and make money at all.

As for picking up a second hand mixer and putting in an Innofader - in the UK, an Innofader costs the same DIF-1S.

Numark don't seem to have a problem with selling their small mixers at <£100 pricepoints.

It's funny how people don't realize what this mixer is and what its meant to do, on here or on the comment section of the link I'm the OP. At least its funny to me anyways. Thud Rumble's version will most likely be limited quantity so that's the reason on the price, it jas potential to be collectable at a future point in time. As for the mixer itself many people are hating because they think they are so much better DJs for using more kit or a mixer woth more "capabilities", but truth of the matter is, it does what its meant to do. If you think you're better cuz your mixer has effects, challenge q-bert to a battle and watch his ass mop the floor with your shitty skills with the non thud rumble version onf THIS mixer. Rant done
