also I just noticed that u have an arduinome, mind if i asked what you did with it?
Hey, I am sorting out some instructions which I will post they may help you setup your TouchOSC.
I had been using the Arduinome to control Ableton with the 7UPLive app, and also played around with mlr & Boiingg as well. I did make a Traktor controller for it but I never used i really.
It was loads of fun to make the Arduinome and loads of fun getting to grip with the apps people have created for ot and the Monome, the community around it is really helpful and there are some crazy little apps that have been made.

thats sweet! I wanna make a midi controller and my buddy suggested an arduino. However I havent really taken any programming classes yet and I don't know of any arduino that has the connections for a 4x4 arcade with 3 faders. Thanks for any information on the touchosc its really appreciated!
Ok so here is the same version I uploaded before apart from now the Pd file is tidier with hidden cables and there is a very basic setup guide included. If you get stuck let me know which bit and then we can work from there.

The arduino can host lots of connections depending on how you set it up. The user forum is very useful and there are alot of people that have written code to control faders and buttons and then there are also peeps that have written serial to midi converters to then control audio apps from there. I arsed around for a while and it was not until I bought one that I was motivated to do anything with it. The Arduinome was easy as far as programming the Arduino since the code was already compiled, but I did load up some tutorial sketches first to get a basic understanding of how it works.
Just get a board and play with it, also if you don't have experience soldering and putting components together I would suggest you try building something really simple first or like me you could waste a bit of cash destroying components as you wield your soldering iron around like a lightsaber :-)
Enjoy!!

hello
I have a ipad I want to use as a controller with traktor ... and I have 7 windows programthat I use to synchronize them?
Ok after a few trial and errors and some research i finally came across this post, THANK YOU!!!!
all works well, only one suggestion, add more cue point triggers?
Thanks again!
I first tried to use Pooks mapping for touchosc on an ipad. It had trouble getting it to work, it doesn't show up as a selectable layout unless you change the template from iphone to ipad size before you sync using touchosc editor.
It is very well done but didn't suit my needs, so I checked out ipad-dj.net.
I coughed up the dough to purchase the 4 deck ipad template and tried it out last night and I can say that I am happy with it. The design is well done, personally I would of preferred slightly smaller faders and larger eq knobs as I mostly do eq blends in my music. I would also like to recommend pitch faders rather than pitch buttons as its more "natural" to me.
