No, they're just resting on the expedit. Even without an attachment, the weight of the turntables, S4, macbook and Rokit 5s are more then enough to keep the whole thing stable.

They are. I've found them pretty good so far. Got them off my friend, you guys would know him on here as DJ Izn or IznremiX. Haven't thoroughly tested them out though since the needles are worn and I've been having tracking problems with my control vinyl and Traktor. Not a good thing when songs start randomly playing in reverse.
