the branding on my case is "e-systems pro"
but like i said, go find some utility cases at your local stores, if they are solid and fit your gear and the price is right then you're set.

Plusplus - you MUST buy some decent speakers, mate! Spending all that money on a 4D and then outputing audio yo a 5.1 set-up is madness! Get some nice powered monitors...

I love my Uberstand - but you might have a problem if your laptop has cooling fans on the bottom (mine has)... You need to raise the laptop where the fans are so that the fans are not blocked. I just taped some 1" blocks to the Uberstand at the rear where the solid block is (this block of aluminium is what was blocking my fans!)

Noticed an improvement in my lappy's performance straight away...

Thanks for the good comments. It is very important to have a portable set up as I travel with this kit alot.

I have a really good Slappa bag that fits all the gear pictured plus a but extra in it. I will post some pics a little later, just waiting for the camera to charge!!

Thanks for the Heads up on that. It looks like the MBP cools with airflow from the back to the top so doesn't look like it will be an issue.

    Default My Setup 2 DJ-Tech Kontrol One units & 1 Behringer DDM4000

My Setup 2 DJ-Tech Kontrol One units, 1 Behringer DDM4000. 1 Audiofire2 Soundcard and a M-Tech D900C Laptop (the most powerful Laptop in the world)

I just purchused this setup and after thirty hours of mapping, I can say I have more control then I ever imagined. And all the control is on ONE LAYER. No more switching layers HORRRRRRAY !

The DDM4000 is completely midi mappable with full LED support. I mix internally using all of the unit for midi, but in setup of the mixer, you can choose which sections you want to use for mdi and and which you want to keep analoge to fit your needs. The interesting thing about this mixer is that even though you can mapp all the control to midi, you can still run any external sorce though the mixer (CD, IPOD SOUNDCARD etc..) using the gain knobs at the very top of the mixer for volume control of these external sources. This comes in handy for running an Ipod (or whatever) as a backup source in case of computer failure. Also you can route your soundcard into the mixer and take advantage of the onboard FX to use in combination with Traktor FX without losing any midi capability. So with this mixer I can just bypass whatever booth mixer I encounter and run my whole setup through my own mixer....backup and all !!!! (Yes it has XLR outs).

The Kntrol one units are absolutely beautiful. They are leaps and bounds more acurate and responcive then the VCI-100...

KO's Large Touch Sensitive Jogs that feel indestructable. Super low action hard plastic buttons that are all LED backlight. Play, Cue & Pause buttons are twice the size of the VCI's. And the LED Push Button Endless Rotary Encoders work perfectly with Traktor (tested 6 hours straight). Also these units have 4 layer capability - meaning there is a knob on each unit that has switchable Midi channels (or layers) 1 thru 4, and they are realtime "on the fly" switchable so you could have four times the amount of control if you wanted (or use 4 decks with two units). This help also with Midi channel conflicts cause you have control over what Midi Chnnel your programing (1 thru 4)

Weirdly I feel a bit guilty saying that on this forum....But it is true....You have to play one of these units to believe how smooth they are....

This setup has as much control (more acually) then the Xone 4d....At a quater of the price...

Sorry about the dark pics...I will post brighter ones soon.
