You guys. I just tried out to copy the AM mode in Traktor - it is pretty easy, took me less than 5 minutes and looks slick:
First off all, you have to open up your Traktor preferences and click on the Decks Tab on the left side. Take out all the Track Infos of the first row in your Deck headings drop down menus.
I myself only have Remaining Time and BPM shown in this row - which is essential to me.
The other rows contain all the Track Infos, that I need. Track Time, Title, Artist, Remixer and Key.
I really like the Essential View of TSP2. So I clicked on the Layout Manager and created another Essential View in there. I named one Essential AM, the other one remained Essential. (I adjusted all other Layout options beforehand already - I hid the Favorites, CoverArt, Mixer- and Globalsection)
By Default The Deck Layout should be set to "Essential" already (which only shows the top Track Details row). If this is not the case, choose the new "Essential AM" layout and click on "Deck Layouts" on the left hand side of your Preferences Window and change the Deck Layout to Essential.
Now choose the "Essential" Layout and change the Deck Layout to "Full" for this one.
Now you should have to identical layouts, one will show you a small Deck header, with one row, the other one will show you a full sized deck, with three rows in the Deck Header.
Finally click on the ControllerManager tab on the preference window's left side. You can create one button to switch between these two layouts, or create a single button for each layout.
You guys should know how this works.
Once the Hotkeys are created, you will have a DJ AM Mode in Traktor by the push of one (or two) buttons.
I really like the clean look of this setup.
Have a look at my two attached pictures. (I had to make them really small to attach them here :/)
