    Formula Sound
I've seen quite a few going for around the $200-300 mark for PM90's with 4 channels filled Absolutely awesome mixers. The x-fader on them sucked unless you modded it (dip in the center), but in terms of sound quality I'd sit them higher than A&H.

The modular layout is quite amazing and makes servicing a dream, I've even had to on one occasion "hot swap" a channel mid gig.

Unfortunately the PSU is around the size of a shoebox and all the ins and outs are underneath so not really ideal for anything thats not installed LOL.

I actually had a quick look around on ebay.co.uk

There's an FSM-600 on auction for 300 pounds with no bids yet. Could be quite a good deal.

At larger/more popular clubs, there is usually no choice but to setup about 15 minutes before your set, while the other DJ is finishing up. Most of the local clubs have 4 channel Pioneer mixers and sometimes A&H. I just plugin to the free channels or disconnect the other DJ one channel at a time during his last 2 tracks.
If there are no free channels and I don't have access to the back of the mixer (some mixers are bolted down), I disconnect the CDJs and plug in those RCA cables right into my soundcard. If your soundcard doesn't have RCA outputs, you should get a pair or RCA couplers.

    Fixed.

Sounds great and works well. I'd even sell you mine since I upgraded to a DJM 900 recently, but overseas that would be a pain to do (I'm located in the U.S.) and probably wouldn't be worth it.
Those mixers also had a lot of problems. They came out while I worked at GC, and proportionally, we took as many back as we did Behringer 700s. It always pissed me off, because they seemed awesome on paper. Same with the little 2-channel Soundcraft Ureis, the 1601s. The people I know who have working ones love them, but there aren't that many working ones left.

did not realise the djm500 had so little love around here. gonna ask to borrow it for a week and test it out, will keep an eye out and maybe something else will turn up. I'm sure the formula sound is gonna go for loads more.

As ever the djtt community comes through with great advice once again cheers. Half tempted to sell off a few other things(ps3) and get something nice.

    thanks again

Thinking about selling my s4 for 2 x1s and a soundcard and save up for a mixer way later. I figure this will give me an easier setup.

6 hours left - no bids, could be the bargain of the century if you sit on it

Yeah just don't have that kinda cash spare at the mo.

Coupon if it's good enough for Hawtin it's got to mean something.

True, but no single bid so far is still a good sign. Usually someone will bid at least the asking amount to make sure he gets the item if he for some reason misses the end of the auction. At least that's my impression and I have a good bit of experience with ebay both as a buyer and as a seller.
