I don't think you can have mixed tag versions. *shrug* I think it's an issue with Traktors tag writing cause if I write the tags in iTunes it changes them in Traktor.
Yeah, I read about that. Weird...
Don't have Ableton yet, but if that's the case I think I'm going to die inside when I get it.
So the conclusion for now is that Trator dosent actually write the id3 tag, but only keeps the information in its own database?
If thats true, it really sucks! I do most part of my track tagging from Traktor. This means that I cannot do a backup of my collection, and get all my valuable tags backed up as well...! PROBLEM!
I notice these programs mention WAV and mp3 formats, but can they process WMA files? This bit of information (which I can't seem to find the answer to) will make or break my decision to buy as most of my collection is in .wmv format...
The idea for these programs sound amazing, but I'm not going to fork over $150 for them if they won't work with 90% of my collection...
would you recommend platinum notes only for like vinyl rips or older mp3s? i buy most of my stuff from beatport and i still feel like the tunes sound very different to each other. some are way fatter than others, more bass, etc.
would platinum notes fix this?
i use mp3gain, but i feel like theres still alot of differences in volume. do i have to use the auto gain feature in traktor also?
"its not designed to impress mozart ffs its meant for ppl to rave out to." - unknown
