Wow, so much exciting information in this thread! So setting an encoder to absolute mode turns it into a pot? Like the rubbish encoders on the Akai MPD26?

I wish there was a reasonably priced audio interface with just 4 stereo outputs to go with these- a club mixer + DC1 or LC1 or 2 PL1 could be a lot of fun

Another question, at this stage does the CMD Studio 4A just have two sets of eq/volume faders?

This seems like it could create difficulty when mixing with four decks as the volume may be right up on one but right down on the other :-\ Any chance we could see 4 sets of eq and volume faders similar to the S4?

cant wait to see the improvements. I definitely support Behringer and the CMD series, its going to change the whole controller market. finally we see quality controllers at a reasonable price

Not on the Studio 4a, but who knows what the future will bring.
