why all the bloody negativity? i can't try his software as i don't run windows and am set with mixxx and traktor atm anyway, but no need to be an ass. if you don't want to use his software then just don't use it. i've been a professional coder for over two decades - don't see how any of our own experience comes into this.

Wow mega levels of doucheness in this thread (whats new).

OP, I have Windows partition on one of my Macs (not out of choice) so i'll give your software a rinse. I'll let you know what I think.

Good on ya for doing this for free.

Good to see that you are not taking the "negative nancys" on board. Just ignore them, they usually get bored and move onto spit there pathetic vitriol on someone else. They ain't worth a piss.

Kind of echoing previous posts, but I just wanted to say how awesome it is that you're sharing this for free, and the fact that you built this while going to school. Also, I applaud your way of dealing with the haters by just ignoring their negativity... Most of them are probably just jealous (how many of you have made a DJ'ing program?)

Oh, and I don't know if anyone's mentioned the name... It's interesting.

Although I don't have windows and my honest answer is I would probably not use it, just like other softwares out there to include Mixxx, I take a look and think it's great folks take on these projects. Good luck.

Yes you are recreating the wheel... I am a professional programmer for over a decade, and instead of trying to bring fame to yourself, you could have put the time you in to help an established application get off the ground. If its for school, great. But don't act like you some how arent doing whats been done before, over and over.

Lastly Im not sure what his comment had to do with looking at source code, or his programming experience. Add me to the negative nancy group. Good luck to you
You sir, are an idiot - leave this forum immediately, the more posts of yours I read the more I realise how bitter and jealous you are of anyone who tries to make anything of themselves - whilst you decide what new forums to join after leaving this one please stay out of topics like this.

I think it's a great thing he's giving it away for free - not everyone can afford expensive DJ products - well done to you through, last of the big spenders.
