not entirely lol. i learned on cdjs so those feel the best to me. i just cant afford a new set of cdjs so buying an a10 for 1/5th of its selling price and an x1 was a real quick solution for allowing me to use my cdjs at home without having to burn cds and all that crap.

Yeah, I'm pretty much over burning CDs when either a Rekordbox USB or an X1 and Audio 2 DJ soundcard will do the job and with less messing around. Matter of fact, the last time I burned CDs for a gig, they didn't work at all, so I decided it's no longer worth the risk.

We get it -- you don't like CDJs or Pioneer. That's fine. Now let other people use what they want to use, no need to be all elitist about it.

You didn't get it, actually. I just don't like CDJs. Pioneer has other pretty decent gear.

i try to use whatever they have unless it's wack, then I bring my gear. It gets you accustomed to all scenarios.

I was playing a party with a friend for free. He brought his Pioneer DDJ-SR and Serato laptop. We were jamming out and some female DJ showed up with her laptop and started crying because we had no CDJs and a real mixer.

We spent 15 minutes hooking up her setup and she played 3 tracks and quit.

Heh, hopefully that'll teach them to check what equipment's being provided for a gig in future.

That's why I love the Xone:K2. If nothing works like you planned, you just use it as a complete controller. If you don't use jog-wheels or crossfader the K2 has roughly the same ammount of buttons as a Kontrol S2! (When using 1 layer, cus when using multiple layers it will start kicking real ass)
