It's great, I love it! Obviously there are a couple of features missing that would send some running for the hills (lack of booth out, no through option for the sound card), and it has a larger than your average controller footprint, but it's a very solid great looking unit, and the jogs are nice as well. They are very high resolution, and play well with Traktor. The bundled software that comes with it is a little light, but I ditched that for TP2 on day one. Sound is 100% a matter of preference, but I think it sounds great as well. Throw in the fact that I got it on sale $200 cheaper, and got Pioneers $300 bag in a rebate for $Free.99, and it just made sense at the time, over say a mc6000 or S4.

The lack of a booth out, and only one aux line input seems to be a real killer for some, but I guess it all depends on your setup as I've always had a separate mixer that I run it through.
    Cheers!

Well there aren't any obvious dedicated controls specifically to the sample decks, however there is an official .tsi file that allows you to manipulate them with Decks C and D. You get used to to it fairly quickly, and if you don't like it, it's not as though you can't modify them yourself to your liking. Me personally, I use 4 track decks more often than not, and use loops from other tracks as my 'samples' so it's not that big of an issue. But again, the controllers are all different and each have their own pro's and con's that suit people differently, which is probably where the sentiment comes from that the mapping for TP isn't to some's liking.
    Cheers!
