I don't think so. When you press a button which is set for a toggle mode the note off is being sent right after the note on massage. This type of command is meant to work if you keep holding the button after the note on massage is triggered.

You can simulate that with a free potentiometer and modifiers. Have the pot setup to send Cc and have it set as a button with auto Inc/Dec when turned past it's zero/off point, adjust the resolution for speed, setup a modifier to toggle the control on/off and leave the pot turned past it's zero/off point. Now you can use another modifier to have other things happen as the pot scrolls from 1-127 and it should be sending constant ˝button presses˝ anywhere you leave it. Right now I'm using this to simulate deck power-downs and low torque start in realtime without FX. Just have the pot "holding down" the tempo adjust Inc/Dec.
There are a couple other ways I'm experimenting with if you edit your controller or use a midi retranslator...
Note that a realtime powerdown means that anything synced to the master deck (like the miditwister sequencer) will powerdown with the deck instead of following the original bpm. Since the ttfx in Traktor uses a sample buffer you have to fill the buffer before a low torque powerup (annoying), but this powers up in realtime so you can skip that step.
Also make sure to set the deck tempo range to %100 to get a full stop enjoy
Question: With Xtreme Mapping Editor I thought I can order my mapping neatly so it makes sense top to bottom but when I save and then import into Traktor it merely reverts back to original list. I tried erasing and loading edited mapping to no avail. Note I am on latest version of Traktor and Xtreme.
In Traktor you can click one of the bars at the top of the control manager window that say "control, I/o, assign, mapped to, condition, comment" to reorder the controls from top to bottom either alphabetically or numerically. I think that is the issue you have here. I have never used MXE though...
Would somebody be so kind to share with me knowledge how to map behaviour of jog wheel to simulate classic vinyl? Touch => pause; move forward od rewind => scratch. I am using Traktor Scratch Pro 2 with Akiyama Sirion SC and there is no complete mapping for this controller so I have to do all by myself at generic MIDI mode. TIA for your help.
Thatīs right. In XM you order the commands in the same way. To show them in proper order use the comment of the command!
Tag all your browser commands with that tag in the beginning of the comment and specify the command to the end of the comment. So you can order them by comment and you see your groups of commands for specific features
for example:
Browser toggle ON
Browser toggle OFF
Browser List UP
Browser List Down
Browser List Load selected to DeckA
Browser List Load selected to DeckB
...
Fx1 on
Fx1 off
Fx2 on
Fx2 off
