If "machines" are corroding the art of DJing why do more and more people turn to DVS after starting with controllers.
Its because its more accessible now. The technology has just helped put the opportunity to get into it into more hands.
Time was that DVS was stupidly expensive, so were controllers.

I haven't read this thread at all, but i sort of agree learning to beatmatch trains your ear to listen to music in a way you wouldn't as a punter etc...
But no hard and fast rules etc
