DJTT S2 v1.1 Mapping Thread

I want the DJTT map to have the bugs fixed. Jiggles map is great but all the functions are excessive for me. I am constantly in a panic trying to figure out what button to press before pressing another button to hold down another button to get a function to work.
HA HA HA...it's crazy! He is pushing the envelope which is great but some of us want simple.

I kinda agree! I am a bit lost with Jiggle's mapping at the moment but it has such big potential. I recommend it to everyone but it really takes time to learn the functions.

But yeah... I am kinda a n00b at DJ'ing and I also feel at times like something more simple would be better for me.
Hehe! But still my hat is off for Jiggle because he keeps updating this one like a monster! Plus he listens to every feedback and wish!

i purchased the djtt s2 mapping and while the flow is great, i wished it was built on the native mapping so that the jog responses etc are kept, plus there are some bugs (pitch slider and xfader gets stuck when traktor first opens etc) that kept me from using the DJTT mapping

looking forward for a revised update , i hope they will decide to implement it on the native mapping this time!

I get this annoying FX preset bug everytime I load up the DJTT S2 Mapping and put on the jogFX mode:

1st preset: Delay, Digital LoFi, Peak Filter
2nd preset: Flanger Flux, Delay, Peak Filter
3rd preset: Flanger Pulse, Peak Filter, Iceverb

When I try to change them to the ones in Ean's jogFX video... they just reset back to those every single time when I change the preset with shift + jogwheel.

Also there's the loop size bug which makes the song browsing a bit difficult. No matter if the loop size is 4 bars or 32 bars... the move-knob still moves the song only 1 bar forward per click.

Haha! I almost forgot the crossfader-problem. When I launch Traktor Pro the crossfader (on screen) shows up in the middle even if my S2's crossfader is 100 % left. Though this one is easily fixed by moving the S2's crossfader to 100 % right and then back to left. Then it corrects itself on screen.

I've got the same thing with the effects presets, the only other problem I had was the LED meters only showing master but that was easily fixed using the instructions of an earlier poster....hope they'll get this resolved soon

If you want to change the presets take a look at the mapping.
Effect 1 Select - FX Unit 1 - Left.Jog.Encoder
button options will be set to delay,flange etc you will need to change these to reflect what presets you would like.

Im trying to create more custom presets but its hard to get my head around the mapping.
holding shift and turning the fx1,2,3 will allow you to change what fx are loaded into that slot not sure how to save them besides alter the mapping.

new to the site, and controllerism (though I've been music making for 6 years, so dont worry, not a COMPLETE n00b ).
was pretty excited about getting the s2 and the mapping... but things seem like theyre not going well I mean, I'm not giving up the s2 OR the mapping... but it's frustrating that there seem to be so many unanswered questions
and im a new guy! can't imagine the frustration you guys that own it are going through.

hope they sort things out soon. or at least let us know when they will.

Can anyone please help me?
i have traktor kontroller s2, i downloaded the mapping, i want to the software, clicked "settings", then controller manager, then add, then import, i selected the file.
now in "device" its says: DJTT s4v.1.2.2 mapping.
in "in-port" and "out-port" i have "n/a".. i tried to click Shift+Reset and it doesnt work... all the controls working, but i cant activate jogfx...
i tried to turn off and turn on the controller and the software but it didnt work.
help please!

You are using the wrong map
DJTT s4v.1.2.2 is for the S4 and will be very different [2 decks vs 4 decks]
the mapping you need is the DJTT S2 Mapping v1.1.tsi
Try that mapping and load it twice in traktor then you should get some functionality.
Also as a side note what version of traktor are you running i know i tried the S2 with older versions but found it didnt play nice with anything less than 2.1.1 which is buggy. If you can try updating to latest traktor release.

I have tried everything in this thread and still get a problem with JogFX also controlling the tempo fader. can anyone supply me with a real reliable fix for this problem? this makes no sense

edit: it is disturbing how simple and awesome this mapping is to use once you get the kinks worked out. I went back and read through and saw that someone removed all other mapping from being loaded and that is what ended up working for me. also doing some slight customization on filters works wonders. really cool stuff... thank you all.
