This is also takes a dump on the Bridge. When that was first announced people thought they'd be able to scratch Ableton clip, not the case. This has basically merged Ableton elements into Traktor way better then literally having Ableton in Serato

There are some nice improvements in the 2.5 update. I was super excited to see the punch feature allows you mix stuff in phase, not just waiting for the one count.

I wonder how easy it will be to create our own remix sets, like what the workflow is for throwing a bunch of loops/samples on the clips and saving that as a remix set. I'm also curious as to how the hell this is coded and done without the computer freezing up every time you load 64 clips. That's huge.

Improved BPM detection

With TRAKTOR PRO 2.5 it’s easier than ever to get started nailing mixes - thanks to the new tempo detection technology.

Load a track and TRAKTOR will automatically find the exact song tempo in beats per minute (BPM) - the foundation of the sync function. TRAKTOR will also (if you choose) set a beat-grid - a virtual frame of markers on each beat for locked-down mixes. Detection of BPM for variable BPM tracks (soul, disco etc) is improved, while Tempo-Tap is updated to deliver even easier realignment of tracks drifting from their grids over time.

For me and the way I work, which is a lot of initial prep done in the same way every time with songs when i buy them, but very little planning when I play them it seems the new sample decks will add a new level of prep. After i do it though I'll be able to pull up whole remix sets spontaneously and play with them.
