The thing is a couple people canceled so I'm sure you can play. I know it doesn't feel the same. But will be worth it anyways.

damn xsquizet I had no clue. I was wondering why you didn't make it out seeing it was more in your area. Like they said before me, give it time. Do what you need to do first, then use that energy to make some music. That's what I do.

damn. sorry to hear that x.

    What a crazy weekend.
Here how it went down(much shorter and less wierd version):
So me and my people dubbed this party as the greatest and wierdest party that no one came to.
i didnt know what to expect as the crowd was a super ecclectic mix of people. PA system was broke until about 7 PM then finally got going with a jam band that was aight. They were mainly just messing around. Then another that had a very nice tight sound to them performed but i didnt catch there name. Then i jumped on the decks threw down and got people moving a bit more. Then SyblingQ(foreverhex) rocked it out and we had super fun time. Rain came, and we held a rave under a tarp for bout 15 minutes, then got gear covered up with a tent and we partied like rockstars on the side of mountain in the middle of nowhere!
Yo SQ: YOU SERIOUSLY HAD THE PARTY ROCKING!!!! Hope my MCing skills were alright, but you defintely had a good vibe going. That was a lot of fun! sorry your music died on you three times, the generator ran out once, then my drunk ass kicked the power tree on stage, then a quarter inch got unplug by someone dancing. but you recovered nicely. Pics of you spinning came out hot.

on a side note: i woke up the next morning and wanted to take pictures of the stage, but it would have seriously pissed everyone off on this forum. Left on the stage was a macbook pro, and VCI-100, 5000 watts of JBL and Crown gear, firebox, amps, cords, Mackie Mixing board.... and plenty more... SOAKING WET! Im talking sat out in the rain all night cause the tent and tarp blew away. I literally poured water out of a MAcbook Pro. i just dont understand why anyone would leave that much gear and that nice of shit to get merc'd by the enviroment.

All in all was a great time, definitely not what i was expecting, but we made the best of it and have fun.

My photog buddy took a bunch of Pics, and ill be sure to post a few on here when i get them.

Well, that is pretty much how I felt about it. Was kinda weirded out by the distance of the place. Nearly 6 mile drive off road  . Then I thought it was going to be a 8 hours of driving bust because of the generator not working. When I started to hear trance music my heart jumped because I knew that the PA was finally workings.

I really enjoyed the band the opened for Jerk (Their name was Wake of the Titans). The had a great sound (listened to their CD and changed my mind. Don't like the vocals).

Joel you fucking rocked it. Me and my girl were dancing the whole first half of your set. I had to sit down because I was afraid I would get tired and be sleepy during my set (got 4 hours of sleep the night before. ).

I was surprised at the response I got from my set. Insane, I put the people to bed. lol. I loved the live MC/raps. Gave it a whole new dimension. I ended off the night with some dubstep, I noticed only 5 people were awake (no need for 130bpm electro). The fucking sub went out or something. So I closed up, packed up and went to sleepa. I asked David if he wanted help with his gear and he told me he would take care of it. He started to walk away when I did, so I turned around and put the tarp over the PA. He was just going to leave it. . I guess my efforts were in vane cause his shit still got soaked. He seemed not to worry to much though. I think he had a plan for drying it out.

All in all, had fun. Got to drunk and had a hang over to follow me all the way home. lol. I'll be waiting for those pics, I'm sure we all look crunk.
