Really sorry to hear that , i'd continue to check back on the site though. The website earlier didn't even display it, now it does. It is on backorder (I called them and asked) but you may get lucky and find one!

Ooh, some other guy from the UK posted that GC in the UK were selling them for full price! If I were you and if that is the case i'd contact someone you know state side to purchase them, provided you find them state side.

I got the last pair in our GC today.
Brand New, right out of the box.
$89.00 x2=$178+tax=$192.685.
I could had 10% off with coupon but friggin manager said it wouldn't apply to this item.

Sorry to kick an old thread back into the equation but I got super lucky and wanted to share !!!!

So a Guitar Center about 100 miles north of me had two last Red KRKs in stock, and after a bunch of phone calls I finally found them and paid for one more red KRK! Hopefully it all goes through well this time and I get them both soon!

That's basically what they told me when I called them the first time because of one of the orders not going through. Basically it's super back ordered. If I were you i'd check what Guitar Centers in your state have them and then i'd get them to ship it to you. Even if it was $20 shipping its still worth it. The black ones are the same exact thing and they go for $200 a pop.

There weren't any stores in my state with them.

As I expected they are trying to claim their website is slow to update and they were out of stock when I ordered. ARGH! This really pisses me off since everybody else has gotten theirs already. They are refusing to substitute the black ones and saying they are just going to cancel the order.

What does everybody think of the Mackie MR-8's? I got a manager to offer to substitute those for $150 each.
