    No point is continuing here....

Jaf clearly knows more than anyone else that is just BSing on this thread and doesn't think experience in the DJ world counts for anything.

    So let him be...

What confused me is that he posts an opinion on here and expects no one else to have a different one.
If experienced DJ's offer me opinions, I would at least listen to them before calling BS.
I mean I have learned so much from other older DJ's....that is how we learn.

But hey....he knows what the punters need...so why not put it into action then?

I know when people are full of it. All these people with their synched train wrecks.

And it is being put into action, or maybe you haven't noticed?

Again, I never said that. You keep on stating things I never said, only assholes do that.

I don't know why so many arguments have spouted off this, well actually I can.

JaF, don't take so much to heart, chill out a bit, you seem to want to be argumentative when you don't need to be.

People have come to this forum asking about how to do beat grids, there is a tutorial on them, must be there for a reason.

At the end of the day, there will be people who sync and those who don't, pretty simple really. There will always be DJs who manage to clear floors, whether it's down to train wrecking, or down to song selection. Does sync improve on song selection, no, does it make you a better DJ, maybe (if you can't beat match).

But really main the main purpose, and what really should be focused on is the music, and no matter what tools a DJ has at his disposal, a DJ who love's and learns his music will always come out on top.

Yes, people come to this forum asking, how many of those are paid DJs? This thread I was specific about DJs using cdjs and controllers in club situations. Not bedroom DJs, not amateurs. Not people who have no idea how to dj, but some people would prefer to talk about the magical unicorn sync train wrecks instead of keeping their conversations based in reality. What's funny is at they are on cdjs and get high and mighty about not using a function, all the while using the other functions that help them.

End of the day, some people think beat matching makes them a real dj, if that is their litmus test, then you can bet they suck.

No one thinks that not using sync makes them high and mighty. We're just saying that you don't need sync to make you better. It's a tool, and it takes skill to use it properly. Its been said over and over, but you still want to disagree with us so we can agree with you.

maybe some people do come here as paid djs who lurk and barely post, Maybe they don't. The absence of something is not proof it doesn't exist - no evidence isn't evidence, it's nothing.

Just give it a rest already.

I respectfully disagree. That was the whole basis of my argument in the first 2 pages. I see and hear people CONSTANTLY boasting about not using sync or actively bashing those that do. It gets to the point where its like, " yea I got it. Now do you have anything else to contribute?"
