How do you like LC-1 so far and what's your plans on PL-1?

Would've been the de facto F1 killer if they had.
No, it wouldn't. The Remix Decks are still locked into the F1, and RGB LEDs won't change that. If I were designing a controller around the Remix Deck workflow, I would definitely lay it out differently than the DC-1. I know everyone is focused on the clip triggering aspect of the Remix Decks and nothing else, but there's really a lot more in there, and something like a MIDI Fighter (or a DC-1) doesn't do that functionality justice.

The LC-1 is cool, I've still not decided what I'm going to do with it (other than setting it up a complimentary controller for digital vinyl). There's so many possibilities for a grid of buttons like that. First I'm going to get it working with xwax's cue points and leave most the buttons blank so I can continue to patch in stuff as new midi features controllable get added to the application. Generic midi support is still very young in xwax- there's not actually a stable release that includes it at all atm.
I also have a DC-1 which I'm doing the same with. I've actually started butchering xwax code for the DC-1 which is fun, if frustrating. I'm a newbie programmer with most of my experience in python and xwax is all C.

I'm really torn between the DC-1 and the LC-1, I can't decide which I like more for use with xwax

As for the PL-1... Who knows? Midi controlled transport in xwax is either a long way off or it will never happen. I think once I've finished with the other two and at least made a dent in the videos I want to make I'll talk to the Mixxx guys and see if I can help get it working out of the box with that application.

Demo units (is that the right term?), they are still not in shops here, sadly. Still can't quite believe I've got my hands on these to be honest

Hi guys, I´ve been (in)patiently waiting for these controllers as some of you. Specially the CMD Studio 4A to replace a Dj Control MP3, and maybe later the DC-1. Does anybody knows where can I preorder in Europe?

    I would check Thomann - they're probably taking pre-orders.
