    TBH the difference between each type of EQ is negligable I've found.

    I'm from a trance background and riding the EQs is the way I have learnt to mix, it's moire subtle and creates a better transition, in Traktor it doesn't seem very managable.

    You can only adjust the crossfader, you can change the curve of that by going to Preferences > Mixer > Crossfader and change the slider bar from smooth to sharp.
