    Go into some store and actually try your favorites. Especially if they are circum-a.
    For example XD-53 does one fit on my head as nice as their cussions are too thin and not resting on my head.
    They say that TMA-1 are good hphs but compared to HD25/HDJ2000 are actually more of a fashion gimmick. Also, the rubberised surface possibly peels off after some use, leaving ugly glossy plastic.
    By comments all around the internet, you can't go wrong with HD-25 but a smart person in one review said that their driver design might be a bit outdated.
    Many photons have died to bring you this information.

    Maybe check out the local shops so you can listen for yourself? I like how the local audio store has some 15 headphones on display and ready for you to plug music and listen.

    HDJ 2000, love these

    HD 25's (not the HD 25 SP 11) I accidentally bought them thinking I was buying HD 25's at a very good price.... opened box.... promptly returned to shop to return, payed an extra $120 and my adidas specials will be here tommorow.

    HDJ 2000s (I use them)
    TMA Aiaiaia-1
    Sennheiser HD25 II
