This is the resistance talking. Seth Godin talks about this a lot in his books (read Poke the Box, it's a short read and is perfect for your position right now) The resistance is that little voice in your head that scares you into quitting before you've really gotten started. Stop thinking and do some work. It took me a long time to realize that looking for advice or tips all the time can be counter productive. It's better to start doing work, even if you fail or suck you will figure out what doesn't work while everyone else waits to find that right piece of advice.

<- 30- started a couple years ago. Loving the journey so far. Remember- SOUL is ageless.
The MUSIC is what matters!
Everything else is _________
I was the same, coming into my last year of uni, all my mates getting professional jobs and I'll be joining them after uni/travelling, I was wondering if I'd left it too late to really get into it.
Too late to be able to concentrate on it when I should be looking more professionally like everyone else.
It would have also been a lot better to get involved while I was living in the city.
But in the end it came down to be wanting to be more creative with what was already a passion....music. Everyone I know that's already settling down is kinda boring anyway!
otra vez...
what's "better involved"?
it sounds to me like you are making excuses...
love the music...everything else comes next....
stop letting other people tell you where you need to be in life...
this isn't a race...
and they aren't measuring sticks...
