    Default music identification software

There seems to be loads of freeware out there for OSX but can anyone recommend one for me? I'm after one that has the option to identify music being played on the laptop with no need for a microphone (obviously internet connection will be required.

    Thanks in advance

shazam and soundhound on iOS...? thats all i know of/use

spose it all depends on what sort of music you're trying to identify.
