Windows goes tits up when gigging as often as OSX does (ie, it's never happened to me yet, barring hardware failures)

Computers can be flaky innit. Be safe out there people.

as yet the stripped out tpro boot hasn't had any problems, it's this one i'm currently in that likes to play up now and again, but it's usually my fault, lol. though for last 3 or 4 months been very smooth sailing

found this on windows/mac dual boots. sounds simple enough, might give it a try in a couple of weeks, just comes down to if i will see any big enough advantage to do it.

    Brad, if you type -

[model of your laptop here] site:www.insanelymac.com

into Google, you should find all you need to know about getting OSX on it.

I was shocked by how easy it all was. Even my webcam and bluetooth chips were detected. No official support for my wifi card, but I've got an OSX compatible card in my old laptop; going to swap them out tonight and then literally everything will be working perfectly.

(Hopefully, I've left it running copying data all day while I'm at work. If it's still going strong when I get home then it's ready for gigging. W00t.)

Nice buy. I like the extra keys (looks like a pukka number pad).
