Hey,
I'm working on some mapping right now, but i have run out of buttons.
My question is: Can I set e.g. Modifier 1 to 2 (M1=2) in a second controller and allow this to my first controller.
I hope you can understand me
Thanks for your help

are you saying you want to press a button on one controller and have it change the modifier state for the buttons on another controller? you can do this if they are part of the same mapping and you have midi in and out set to "all ports", I believe.

My Setup
You got it.
It might be a good way, but there could be problems with MIDI signals. I mean if the two controllers send the same MIDI data it won't work. E.g. I'd like to add 2 function to the first controller Ch1NoteA1 button, but the second controller send the same Ch1NoteA1 MIDI as a modifier. There will be chaos I think.
Are there any other way?
But anyway THANKS!
yes, that would be a problem. what kind of controllers are we talking about here? If one is an NI controller or midi fighter for instance, you could change the midi channel on one of them to avoid conflicts.

My Setup
A Reloop Terminal Mix 4 and an Akai MPK 25 or iPhone Touch OSC.
I can change the MIDI chanel on the Akai and the iPhone too, but it would be easier if each of the controllers have got their own mapping.
If there aren't any other way then I'll try your idea.
