Street Knowledge, did the processes you mention, allow hastle free usage?
I also have an Envy 14" Beats Edition. I would like to use the internal soundcard for small parties and such, as you suggested, but can't assign the channels properly. I can get channels 1 and 2 playing from both mini jack outs, while channels 3 and 4 are coming out from the computer's built-in speakers. I can switch the settings and it will work opposite, but I can't seem to get two discrete stereo outs from the mini jacks. Is there a setting I'm missing in Control Panel or the Beats Audio settings? Please tell! I'm sure others will find this info useful as well.
By the way, I do love this notebook. It's a rock solid performer with both Traktor 2 and Torq 2.
Is each mini jack not stereo on it's own?

Yes, they are both stereo. I just can't get them to each play different sources i.e. program out and cue out. I know the card is four channel, since I can get the cue channel to play through the notebook's built-in speakers, with the program out playing on BOTH mini jacks.
