Disco house is just as vague as the term electro.

Correct and IMO House is the evolution of disco. All these subgenre's are like the grandchildren of disco with dubstep and D&B being the bad kids that smoke cigarettes and are in and out of jail.

Fischerspooner is probably the most (technically) Electro person (IMO) I can think of in the truest sense of the word.

You have a ALOT of Electro house around at the moment which have the electro synths which is what people latch on to at the mo.

Miles Dyson makes some dirty electro stuff, his song "Anthem" is awesome but I'm not sure if it would be electro. He also produces a lot of other artists from his label plasmapool, lots of good stuff there.
