    Im kinda glad this horse shit has come along, at least my dnb raves can go back to being underground now and brostep can be left to die with what little dignity it has remaining.

    This 'genre' strikes me as another flash in the pan, but thats what popular music is all about I guess!

    To be fair, traps been around for a little over a decade. T.I. started it in like the early 2000s i believe. Its been a fairly popular genre for a while, its just shifting a little with all of these electronic djs jumping on it.

    Trap aint nothing new, young jeezy was doing it years ago aswell. these electro djs will jump on anything if they are gonna make some money from the pop crowd.
