Does anyone know when the Behringer CMD series units are going to be available? I'm looking forward to trying these out.

Ugh....That sucks....I really want them sooner! Oh well, I guess it makes it easier to pick up the F1 when it is released in a few weeks and then save up a little and get the MM-1 & PL-1 when they are released!!!

I have a quick question about the PL-1 if it's not too much trouble: What drove the decision to go with 8 encoders instead of 4 buttons+4 encoders?

Because the encoders on the PL-1 are PUSH encoders, so it's really 8 knobs and 8 buttons.

i bet nem0nic really really can't wait for these controllers to be released - so people stop asking *when* they'll be released

i can't wait for them to be released either - but keep changing my mind on what controller(s) i want to get and can't afford to buy all of them

Are the images on the Behringer site renders/prototypes or the actual production units?
Sure I read they were pre-production renders...

I can't wait. My ideal setup is pretty modular, consisting of two x1's and one of the new behringer MIDI mixer controllers. So much portability and options at a pretty reasonable price. Ugh I need to save more money.
