I just watched eans video about how to set up beatgrids. I wanted to beatgrid my files to and assign some cue-points for better orientation but I rather want that information to be stored inside the mp3's as I'm shifting them around often.
Here's what I did:
-Went to preferences->Browser preferences->Collection preferences and checked "ID3 tag mode". It was set to "Ext. + Stripe" which should be correct.
-created some cue-points (of all types)
-right-clicked the file inside the browser window and hit "Write File Tags (async)"
-then I moved the file to another folder on the harddisk
-loaded the track on a deck and BOOM
-BPM analyzes again and all cue-points gone
So what am I doing wrong?
