    Default VCI Mod question

    Hey guys

So... hypothetically, I decide to get some guides to soldering so I can, in the end, replace the LEDs on the VCI.

I've opened up my VCI to do the firmware upgrade, and when that was done I poked around a little bit.

How do I get the board off of the main body so I can see the lights to remove them?

    Thanks

On the inside you first take the small circuit board off (one screw).
after that you have to take 4 screws off from the big circuit board.
on the back of the vci are 2 screws, take them out too.
Now the inside is loose, you pull off all knobs from potentiometers and
    sliders.
the potentiometers are secured with 11mm nuts.turn them loose, and
now you can take out the main board.
(Maybe you also have to take some white connectors of from the main-board.

Hope this won't scare you,If you do it gently with common sense it's easy.
