Default One press to delete all hotcues

Trying to map a single button to delete all 8 hotcues in a track with one press.

I've mapped "Delete Hotcue" for each hotcue to a single button but it doesn't work as expected. It deletes hotcue #8 on the first press but no more after that.

Best I can do is set a "Hotcue State = cue" modifier for each command. Now I can delete all the hotcues with a single button but I have to press it 8 times.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks!

You can use midi-ox to create all kind of automations. Check out Elephant Mapping documentation so you can learn some tricks on midi routing. It this case you would need to create a button which drops an eight different CC events (or just one CC combined with modifiers) at one time.

Also the midi pipe can help with this if you're on mac.

I'm sure I've done this in the past on my Dicers? 1 press on 1 button to delete 4 hotcues...

Did you use midi-ox or midi pipe?

(By inverting the odd-numbered hotcue delete commands, I've got it down to 4 button presses.)

No - only Traktor. Perhaps I didn't, actually? But I DEFINITELY did it in DJ Decks...

You can also use a CC knob and a mod to delete all the cues in a single twist of a knob but I'm pretty sure the note massage couldn't be used to accomplish that scenario by default traktor mapping.

The knob twist is a nice solution. I've settled for the 4 presses method 'though because I'm using a desktop keyboard for this mapping. (It's a good selling point for the DJTT Twister though!)
