For 2020/21 What laptops would y'all recommend (mac or any other) that best handles Ableton Live 10/11? (Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Can only speak from experience, my M1 MacBook Pro 8GB flies through anything I've thrown at it running live 11. Fan is never audible. Can run my entire live set on stage at 64 samples with the Motu M4.

I'd say unless you work with large virtual instruments the 8gb or ram is plenty. Note I wouldn't apply this to any other machine other than the M1 processor.
